A 25-year-old runner who had a cardiac arrest along the River Trent and spent three weeks in hospital on a ventilation machine is supporting a campaign to bring a defibrillator to a local football club.
James Laverty, from West Bridgford, had just completed a 10K run with the Southbank Running Club when he suddenly collapsed on April 8.
