Despite some challenges, we have been busy working to fulfill our mission. This past month we hosted a CPR/AED training at J. Carvers restaurant in Wallingford. It was a great opportunity to share our mission and teach people important life saving skills.
We donated our first AED internationally this past month! We sent an AED to a village in Costa Rica with a group of Quinnipiac University students. This is our 198th AED donation and we are excited to be donating our 200th AED in a couple of weeks!
We are proud to be partnering with The Korey Stringer Institute for our first community screening event this year. It will take place on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at the University of Connecticut on the floor of Gampel Pavilion where the UConn Husky basketball teams play! Click here to register.
Thank you to everyone who attended our inaugural Ocean Republic Fundraiser in Stuart, FL. It was a great event and a great opportunity to raise awareness about heart disease, sudden cardiac arrest, CPR, and AEDS. We raised enough money to donate multiple AEDS directly back to this community.
