This past month we were busy providing more free electrocardiograms and donating more AEDS! We donated 2 AEDS this past month. The AED recipients were Bittner Park in Guilford, CT and Higher Expectations in Springfield, MA. We have now donated 222 AEDS.
Thank you to the Ianniello Family as well as Bob and Melissa Shaw for making the donation to Bittner Park possible. The funds to purchase this AED were raised at the annual Michael Ianniello Open. Michael passed away at the age of 33 after suffering cardiac arrest while playing pick up basketball.
We hosted a Cardiac Screening Event at Notre Dame West Haven High School in West Haven, CT. We were able to provide over 250 students with a FREE electrocardiogram (ECG) at the school. We are looking to partner with more high schools in CT so if you know a school who may be interested, please contact us!
