Patty Gatcomb

Patty Gatcomb, APRN, is a Family Nurse Practitioner who is board certified in Advanced Diabetes Management. She obtained her bachelors degree from Salve Regina College and Masters of Science in Nursing from Southern Connecticut State University. Patty has spent her 40 year career at Yale University and Yale New Haven Hospital in clinical research and patient care.  She has been recognized for her work in diabetes with numerous awards and was honored by Yale New Haven Health System as the Outstanding Nurse Practitioner in 2009. She is committed to supporting the In a Heartbeat Foundation’s mission to develop a screening program for middle and high school athletes with the goal of identifying those who may be at risk of Sudden Cardiac Arrest. She is the proud and grateful mother of a SCA survivor.
