On Sunday, July 8, my husband’s heart failed. Dale had been mowing the grass in Indiana Borough that beautiful afternoon. He sat down for a break, and I gave him a cup of water, but a moment later I heard it hit the cement porch. When I looked at him, he was gray and limp. His head fell back; his body was lifeless. I grabbed his head to hold it upright and opened his mouth and windpipe. He took a shallow breath as I dialed 911, but he remained unconscious.
